Live Poets Society

The Live Poets Society is devoted to writing, reading and promoting poetry. We are affiliated with the Log Cabin Literary Center in Boise, Idaho. We meet twice a month primarily to explore our own writing. The group was formed at the encouragement of William Studebaker and resulted in the publication of What Mattered Once, What Matters Now, an anthology of poetry.

Beautifully crafted. A lovely way to express the process of waiting for the muse.

What a beautiful elegy to our fragile foothill resources under assault by Boise's burgeoning popularity. I like how you weave wildlife's annual renewal with the uncertain future. I also like how you reveal humanity's connection as "smacking perfect mouths on red wrinkled fists."
