font-style: italic;font-family:arial;" class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;span style=""&gt;The Live Poets Society is devoted  to writing, reading and promoting poetry.&lt;span style=""&gt;   &lt;/span&gt;We are affiliated with the Log Cabin Literary Center in  &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;st1:place&gt;&lt;st1:city&gt;Boise&lt;/st1:city&gt;, &lt;st1:state&gt;Idaho&lt;/st1:state&gt;&lt;/st1:place&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;.&lt;span style=""&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;We meet twice a month primarily to explore  our own writing.&lt;span style=""&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;The group was formed at  the encouragement of William Studebaker and resulted in the publication of W&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;span&gt;h&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;span&gt;at Matt&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;span&gt;ered Once, What Matters &lt;span class="GramE"&gt;Now&lt;/span&gt;, &lt;/span&gt;an anthology of  poetry.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; font-weight: bold;" class="MsoNormal"&gt;Virgin&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;                        &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;There was no hush-hush no reticence&lt;br /&gt;in the talk about the sometimes confrontations&lt;br /&gt;between the Filipino barman who had Our Lady in hock&lt;br /&gt;and the little girl who wanted her back&lt;br /&gt;if the priest was coming she would run down the block&lt;br /&gt;to the bar face and hands and sagging school socks&lt;br /&gt;grayish-white in the dim doorway&lt;br /&gt;saying can we get the statue back&lt;br /&gt;people said anyway there she is again the girl&lt;br /&gt;the daughter of the drinker of the man&lt;br /&gt;who bartered the household god for a jar&lt;br /&gt;with the boys and a night spent heaving in the can&lt;/p&gt;
